One of my favourite things to do in Saint Tropez is visit the market on Tuesday and Saturdays, where you can find everything from antiques, hand woven baskets, Italian made clothes, carpets and food!

Switzerland was everything and more than I hoped it would be. Already planning my next trip!

If you are planning to explore Switzerland don’t miss out on travelling by train, the @mob.goldenpass Belle Epoque Train was such a wonderful experience and it really felt like stepping back in time. We travelled from Montreux to Gstaad, the journey was just over an hour of breathtaking Mountain views and was only 60€!!

A great place to visit is Antibes, especially in spring time, the weather is perfect for the sentier du littoral walks 🥾 in Cap d’Antibes, the views of the coastline are just breathtaking.

Welcome to the beautiful tulip fields of Forcalquier and the nearby villages.

From late March to mid-April, the countryside transforms into rows of vibrant colour stretching across the rolling hills of the Luberon. The best time to catch them is early April, depending on the weather, when the flowers are fully open and the light is soft in the morning or just before sunset.

Forcalquier makes the perfect base to explore, but don’t miss driving through the smaller villages nearby where you’ll find some of the most photogenic fields with fewer crowds. Sunrise visits are especially worth it for that golden glow and peaceful atmosphere.

If you’re planning a spring trip to the South of France, this is one of the most underrated experiences.

Best time: late March – mid April

Cannes is beautiful year round, but there is definitely a more laid back vibe off season. March/April is perfect just before the busy Festival de Cannes begins end of April and beginning of May.

You could spend hours walking and people watching, lunch at @carltoncannes and beach front shopping along La Croisette, where you can find all the best designers on one street.

Don’t forget to stop by Le Sequet, where you will find all the charming traditional restaurants and boutiques in the old town.

The château behind Whispering Angel is Château d’Esclans. It’s a historic estate in Provence near La Motte, and it’s where the famous rosé Whispering Angel is produced. The château itself dates back centuries (parts of the cellar are believed to be very old), and today the estate is known as one of the places that helped elevate Provençal rosé to global fame. @chateaudesclans @thewhisperingangel

This is probably the most unique place to visit, the beautiful village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is set high into the cliffs. It’s so charming as you would expect from a village in the South and it also has a waterfall running through the centre!

Bonus- it happens to be situated next to the largest canyon in Europe (Verdon Gorges), with the bluest water I’ve ever seen!

Kayaks are available to hire at the Lake.

It’s around 2.5 hour drive from Nice, but there are stunning views of Lac de Sainte-Croix along the way 🤍

Welcome to a weekend at the 5 star Palace de Menthon on Lake Annecy. This beautiful Belle Époque hotel has been here since 1906 and the setting is honestly hard to beat… right on the lake with mountain views in every direction.

Spring is such a lovely time to stay here. The weather starts warming up, the flowers are blooming and it’s the perfect place to slow down for a couple of days. Think morning coffee with lake views, lakeside walks, and easy trips into Annecy old town.

If you’re looking for a relaxed weekend escape in the French Alps, this place is pretty special.
