Welcome to Billionaires Bay

A beautiful hideaway
Located between the old port of Antibes and the chic peninsula of Cap d’Antibes, Billionaires’ Bay—officially Baie des Milliardaires is one of those Riviera spots that feels both glamorous and hidden. Super yachts often idle just offshore, yet the real charm is along the water’s edge.
The best way to soak it in is on the Sentier du Littoral, the coastal path that loops around the cap. The full trail runs roughly 4.7 kilometres (about three miles) from Plage de la Garoupe to Villa Eilenroc and back. At an easy pace it’s a 90-minute walk, but you’ll want to leave time to stop, there are turquoise coves and limestone cliffs that practically demand a pause.
The path itself is narrow and rugged in places, hugging the rocks with the sea just a few feet below. You’ll pass pine groves and the occasional shuttered Belle Époque villa peeking through the trees. Late afternoon is my favourite moment: the light softens, the yachts turn golden, and the scent of salt and pine hangs in the air.
Practical tip: sturdy shoes help, and check the tide if there’s been rough weather as waves can splash over some sections. After the walk, a drink back in Antibes’ old town or at one of the Garoupe beach cafés makes the perfect finish.
